Adding your Halaxy calendar

Connect your Halaxy calendar to Kindred to help manage your availability.

Kindred shows your Halaxy busy times in your calendar and flags any overlaps with Kindred sessions.

To add your Halaxy calendar:

1. In Kindred, go to Calendar.
2. Click Calendar sync in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Under Bring your other calendars into Kindred, select Halaxy.
4. In Halaxy, open Calendar and select the sync icon in the top-right corner. Alternatively, go to Settings › Users and select the calendar icon beside your name.
5. Copy your unique syncing address.
6. Return to Kindred and enter a Calendar name.
7. Paste the address into the Calendar syncing address field.
8. Click Add Halaxy calendar.

Note: Keep your calendar link private, as anyone with it can see your diary. Kindred only reads your busy times. Your appointment details remain private.

Managing your Halaxy calendar

If your calendar link stops working, you can replace it to restore the connection.

To update your Halaxy calendar link:

1. Go to Calendar.
2. Click Calendar sync in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Under Bring your other calendars into Kindred, find your Halaxy calendar and click Replace link.
4. In Halaxy, open Calendar and select the sync icon in the top-right corner. Alternatively, go to Settings › Users and select the calendar icon beside your name.
5. Copy your unique syncing address.
6. Return to Kindred and paste the address into the Calendar syncing address field.
7. Click Save new link.

Note: Kindred only reads your busy times. Your appointment details remain private.

Removing your Halaxy calendar

You can remove your connected calendar at any time and reconnect it later.

To remove your Halaxy calendar:

1. Go to Calendar.
2. Click Calendar sync in the top-right corner of the page.
3. Under Bring your other calendars into Kindred, find your Halaxy calendar.
4. Click the bin icon beside the calendar.
5. Click Remove in the confirmation window.

Note: Removing your Halaxy calendar immediately removes its busy times from your Kindred calendar.
